Silent

Once again there’s so much silence here,
My mind is running.
My heart barely beats.
I float through time and space.

This is probably already
written by somebody,
Who also thought that
they were original too.
Five generations ago.

Yet I’m wrapped in your Tunic, and it smells like you.
Sometimes this is the only thing that matters to me.
And the last thing I want to do is put down the phone.

This poem was written, and photo taken during a tough break-up I had this Summer. I was with my boyfriend for a year and found out on our one year he had done something completely unforgivable. I have left him, but the pain lingers a while, as expected.
